I just wanted to let you know we are thrilled with this harness and so is the Pug! Now she can go for walks on the jetty at the local port without us all panicking. Her previous harness was just too flimsy. This one is so robust she can’t possibly slip out when trying to become airborne in pursuit of seagulls. Also it is very handsome and she is even more admired than usual. Thank you for such an excellent service which I am happy to recommend to my friends.

I wanted to let you know how much we LOVE our new collar!!! Unlike many of your other customers, I don't have the kind of dog that requires a collar or harness like a guide dog or police dog. I just have a little 4 pound Chihuahua whom I love to death and love to spoil even more! The collar I ordered was the Havana brown English bridle leather with brass studs & fittings and a kid goat lining. The craftsmanship is impeccable and the leather smell is wonderful! This collar looks & feels better than any other leather collar I've seen in the stores by far! I would recommend your products to anyone who is looking for something extra special!

Just wanted to let you know that the exquisite kangaroo lead and collar (in chocolate and brandy) arrived in time for our 7 month old Chesapeake Bay Retriever's first shows....Ransom looked splendid in them and we got lots of compliments on the lead and collar. (Well, the dog too.) He wore it again last weekend and it's packed for our trip next week! I have handed out your web address at least a dozen times and always recommend you very highly. We (Canine Partners of the Rockies) recently placed a dog with a woman with Cerebal Palsy. Her doctor had told her that she would never find a harness that would allow her to walk safely with a service dog. When she visited him with her new dog, which was wearing your combination/dual purpose harness, he completely changed his mind. Fantastic news, the package you posted out on the 15th December arrived on our doorstep about two hours ago. The collars and the leash are sensational! All fit perfectly. My favorites are the Martingale and the flat buckle leather dress collar. Simone's favorites are the Slip collar, and the leash. But this is drawing straws, we like all your work. The goods are of exceptional standard. As soon as I go back to work after the festive season break I will get hold of work's digital camera and send some images through to you. I will also pass on any feed back we receive from other dog owners, and if they are interested in a purchase, I'll put them in contact with you.

I just wanted to let y'all know that Oro is very happy with his tracking harness. He puts it on happily (with my help), works in it happily, and can't wait to get it back on each time. The workmanship is excellent, and the harness looks to be very durable. We especially like that this harness is substantial, but not more harness than is needed or useful. The harness has been admired by several of our team members, so you might get more inquiries from here as handlers/dogs decide it's time for new ones.

The hands-free do it all leash is wonderful! It is so nice to be able to pay attention to my dog's work rather than having to fuss with the leash. I can even sit down and keep the leash over my shoulder and there is still plenty of length for Bart to lay comfortably at my feet. No more trying to wrap the leash around my leg. My husband was also impressed with the quality of the leash. We feel it was fairly priced and beautifully crafted in the supple burgundy leather with the shiny stainless steel hardware. I can't remember now how long I have had the "Black and Tan." Not only does it look great on Sheba, but it is very functional. I had ordered both a straight handle and the offset style. I didn't know if I would be able to use the offset handle, but you know, it is just the right thing for me. I tended to pull the straight handle toward me and, in so doing, pulled the entire harness to one side. That doesn't happen now. The fit is really perfect. Sheba did gain a few pounds since I receive the harness. I had to initially drill an extra hole in the chest strap in order to make it fit. That has held out, but we are definitely pushing the limit. So long as she doesn't gain another pound, we'll be fine. If she does, I'll have to work with you on getting a chest strap that I can attach to this harness that is a couple of inches longer than this one...My impulse is to purchase yet another harness, but I'll restrain myself for the present. I will think about getting the latigo harness sometime in the future. I hope all is well for you. I hope your business is booming! Your work is excellent. Nonetheless, I hope and pray my dog outlast her beautiful harness by about 20 years.

I opened the boxes when I got home last night and the frames are OUTSTANDING! They are really, really beautiful. My daughter's harness arrived today and it is wonderful. The fit is perfect, and it is so much more comfortable for her dog than the old one. The four way leash is going to be exactly what she needs to have for school. She will be able to put the leash over her shoulder and forget about it. That's a great thing for a kid with a brain injury who has trouble organizing things. Again, thanks for this great equipment.

LDS Leather has been awesome to me and my needs. They have adapted even some of their most adaptive products to fit me and my needs. they also try (and usually do) make some of my weirder ideas for me and make it exactly how I ask!!!! I have had to retire my last dog and my new puppy is going to be a lot larger and I will have to buy a new harness for him when he is bigger but I will definitely be going through LDS for that!!! Hi! My friend/co-worker picked me up at the airport with the harnesses in her van and I must say- they are absolutely wonderful! I have one in my lap right now. The brown thread is great, and it would be safe to say I think I like the brown over the white thread look, anyway. Of course, when we got back to the campus we all had to file into the bathroom so we could see the glow-in-the-dark patches on them. They are just great- we're in love with them. We almost don't want to give them up to the student's and their dogs! )Of course we still have another week and a half to play with the harnesses here in the office before the trainers will need them to give to the students.) The handles are really cushioned, too. Our trainers loved that feature- the ones from Guide Dogs aren't as cushioned. And the panic connectors make the harness quieter when it is on the dog. The oval rings tend to clank when they act as shock absorbers between the harness and the handler, but the panic connectors are really quiet. Thank you so much for all your hard work. We are so pleased over here! I can't begin to describe how happy we are with the harnesses.

Thank you so much for shipping out the harness so quick. It came Wednesday morning and we were able to do a test run to the local warehouse store. What a wonderful feeling to know that I was going to be able to lean on Kurn when standing in line. Everything fits wonderfully and boy does he look snazzy. You all did a wonderful job and I particularly love the stamped designs on the large saddlebag. It was a nice surprise to see the celtic knot symbols because I am a big fan of celtic music and our local renaissance faire. The kids thought I requested them, but I told them you all must just be telepathic down there because you knew I would like them. ...The harness is working out wonderfully. Kurn looks very professional now and is doing his job with great enthusiasm. Attached is a picture of him in his harness. Kurn is a 1 year old neutered male rottweiler that I use for mobility assistance. Thanks again for all the wonderful work.

The harness is here! And it fits her! And the whole harness is
lighter than just the training handle we had. And it fits Chris better ... he
doesn't have to bend over slightly, because the handle is longer (special
request) And we are very happy with it. She looks so snazzy in her new shiny
black harness ... matches her shiny black fur! We also were able to afford the
matching leash because of the discount! I can't wait for her and Chris to
show off! We got the American guide harness, in black bridle
leather (and it is double sided, with nice stitching and it does NOT appear
to be shoddily done, as was described about a different company) The fit is GREAT, with the very last hole fitting her perfectly now, with 4 other holes to allow for her widening out (if she gains weight). And we thank LDS profusely! Based on appearances and observed quality, we will be recommending LDS to anyone who
asks us!

Hi. the harness for Morgan arrived yesterday. It fits Morgan really well. It took me a while to figure out how to put it on, but after the human figured out how to put it on the animal, we went for a trial walk and Morgan was very proud and did very well. He likes the leather smell of it. I think this will make a big difference with my stability when walking with him. The handle is great. It's still all new so there may be some questions later, but for now it seems to be fine. Thanks for all your great work and great service to help people like me.

Hi. I was thrilled to receive my harness from LDS leather in the mail today. To say that I'm impressed is an understatement. In my opinion, the quality is as good or better than most guide dog school harnesses. I chose a sturdy burgundy leather which I thought would look nice on Renee's black coat. The handle has panic snaps so I can easily take it on and off. It is a much shorter handle which I really need and love. There is less play in the harness than I am used to, and I like it so much better. I can feel Renee's movements more easily. I'm finding out how subtle some of her movements can be, and I think this will do amazing things for our working relationship. The best thing is that it fits Renee like a glove; no harness tilting to one side.

Thank you seems like too little for what LDS Leather Company did for my husband. I had searched and searched locally to no avail for a harness for Sara to assist my husband. By chance I came across the web-site one evening and telephone. The woman I spoke with was most helpful, discussing the differences in the types of leather and styles.

The new harness got here today and I love it. More importantly Lucky didn't mind putting it on. Once I figured out how to work the buckles - it was easy to get on him. They just don't work like the other harness and anything new throws me a bit. The harness is well padded and has great adjustments.... For such a substantial harness, it's pretty.

I'm a shameless advocate of the LDS harnesses... Karen recommended a matte black pigskin, which I love, and I wouldn't have thought of it myself....I am entranced by the sight of him in his black harness. He looks so nice! From now on, all my shoes and briefcases are going to be matte black. I added a couple of things to Blue's harness: a sheepskin liner for the breastplate (this is removable, in case it gets wet), a tag bag, a harness duffel, and a brass nameplate with his identification information on it. We made quite an entrance at a restaurant in downtown Boston recently.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I recieved my custom ordered slip collar and show lead. It seems to be in fine working order. I'm very impressed with the quality of the leather. It's very supple, and soft.
